Young people presented their idea of creating supply packs to Corporate Parenting Panel with the support from Durham County Council practitioners. This resulted in their idea being funded by different Durham County Councillors to be able to create these packs. 

The aim of these packs is to help support young people in their first few weeks of being in care. In August 2024, 60 packs were put together and in February 2025 a further 120 packs were put together, 10 young people supported by Investing in Children and Durham County Council staff came together to build up the packs.
